Loopin is a growing people technology SaaS company that helps organisations understand how their people are doing and where they need support. Our platform combines employee feedback, AI and coaching to help managers build happier, healthier and higher-performing teams.
We’re a small, ambitious team working with some brilliant organisations, and we’re looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to help us build the next stage of Loopin.
You might be straight out of university or already have some commercial experience. We care much more about what you can do, how you think and how keen you are to learn than having a long CV.
The role
Get hands-on with the whole product.
You’ll work closely with our Senior Developer, getting hands-on with a live SaaS product and real customer projects from day one. One day you might be tracking down a frustrating bug. The next you could be improving the front end, building something bespoke for a customer, working on an integration or helping develop a completely new feature.
You’ll get exposure to the whole product rather than being tucked away working on one tiny part of a huge system.
What you’ll do
Build, investigate and improve.
- Build and improve features across the Loopin platform.
- Work across front-end and back-end development.
- Find, investigate and fix bugs.
- Support bespoke customer builds and integrations.
- Test and improve new functionality.
- Get involved in AI-enabled features and emerging technologies.
- Turn customer feedback and real-world problems into better product experiences.
- Bring your own ideas about how we can make Loopin better.
You’ll have plenty of support, but you’ll also be trusted to have a go, solve problems and take more ownership as your confidence grows.
About you
Curious, practical and keen to learn.
You might be graduating in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject, have graduated recently, or have taken a different route into development. We’re not expecting you to know everything. That’s rather the point of a junior role.
- Has a good grounding in software development and full stack fundamentals.
- Has built things — through university, placements, personal projects or simply because you wanted to.
- Enjoys creating great user experiences as well as figuring out what’s happening behind the scenes.
- Likes solving problems and doesn’t give up at the first error message.
- Is excited by AI and new technology.
- Learns quickly, asks questions and wants to keep getting better.
- Is proactive, practical and happy to get stuck in.
- Enjoys being part of a small, collaborative team.
Most importantly, we’re looking for potential, curiosity and attitude.
You don’t need to arrive knowing everything. You do need to arrive wanting to learn.
The tech
Strong fundamentals matter more than a perfect checklist.
You’ll work in a modern SaaS environment across our existing platform and new customer builds. Experience or familiarity with these areas would be useful, but we don’t expect professional experience across our entire stack.
